Join us for a screening of Spectre. The film will be preceded by a short talk ‘Why the world is not enough: bridging the gap between social and biological explanations of crime’ by Dr Kyle Trieber, University of Cambridge.

The Cambridgeshire branch of the British Science Association welcomes volunteers with any level of knowledge and enthusiasm for STEMM (science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine) public engagement to join our outreach efforts. We run fun events to connect with people of all ages - use the links or watch the video below to find out more!

SciScreen aims to bring science to life by linking talks from leading scientists with the science shown in movies. At each event, a scientist will give a short talk about an area of science relating to the film before the film is shown. After the film, there will be a question and answer session and informal discussion, in which you can ask the expert any questions that you may have. So come along and see how much of what you see in films can really be believed!
