Who attends the Conference?

We welcome anyone who works in or has an interest in public engagement with science. That includes people who work in all sectors, as well as freelancers and small consultancies. The Conference will include sessions for all levels of experience, from seasoned pros to those new to the sector.

This year, we have divided the sessions into interested, experienced and expert, to indicate the level of familiarity you will need to get the most out of the sessions. We recognise that some people might have different levels of expertise in different fields, so you don’t have to attend all the sessions in a particular stream.

Interested – an audience keen to learn new skills and find out a bit of background about science communication

Experienced – people with experience in science communication, who might be looking to find out about new developments, or best practice

Expert - Those who are looking for a detailed debate on in-depth topics relating to science communication
