A report on public attitudes to automated vehicles has been published today and found a desire from the public for greater clarity around the technology scheduled to be piloted in May.

The Automated vehicles: What the public thinks report, conducted on behalf of Sciencewise by the British Science Association, summarises public views from a range of sources including an Ipsos MORI survey and over 2,800 online comments on related articles and content. The Sciencewise study focuses on public awareness, the potential benefits and risks, unanswered questions, trends in opinion and influencing factors.
