Getting to the British Science Festival

This year, the British Science Festival is taking place across the University of Birmingham campus, as well as several venues in the city of Birmingham. (map) Below you can find directions to campus as well as information on the city venues.


University of Birmingham
Once you arrive, signage will be visible throughout campus to guide you to Festival locations.

By car
Pay and display car parks are located at:
    - North East Car Park (access via Pritchatts Road) - B15 2SA
    - North Car Park (access via Pritchatts Road) - B15 2SB
    - Pritchatts Road Car Park (a -t junction with Vincent Drive) - B15 2QU

By rail
Nearest railway station is University which is located on the University of Birmingham campus. Trains depart every 10 minutes from Birmingham New Street station

By bus
Numbers 61, X62 and 63 go to the University of Birmingham campus frequently from the city centre. Online bus timetables are available here
You can plan your train or bus journey to get to the Festival via Network West Midlands website

Aston Brain Centre, Aston University

Birmingham and Midland Institute
The Birmingham and Midland Institute is located on Margaret Street, closest to New Street and Snow Hill stations. (map)

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
The Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is located closest to New Street and Snow Hill stations. (map)

Birmingham Repertory Theatre (The REP)
The REP is located in the heart of Birmingham in Centenary Square next to the International Convention Centre. Directions can be found here. (map)

Edgbaston Priory Club
