Meet the x-change volunteers

Estelle Cheuk, 23

What you are currently doing?

I finished my degree in Human Sciences at Oxford last year, worked and travelled in Australia and North America for 9 months and now I am about to start an MSc in Science Communication in September at UWE

Why you are excited about volunteering for the x-change?

I'm excited about volunteering for the x-change because it's a great opportunity to see Science Communication in action first hand, never mind actually having the chance to be an integral part of it!  Plus, the festival itself is a fab event, bringing together world class speakers (who I can meet!) and inspiring the next generation of scientists with the x-change highlighting all of its best bits.  It's going to be a crazy and busy week but I cannot wait.

Who would be your perfect guest?

Vanessa Berlowitz, Executive Producer at the BBC's Natural History Unit.

Tell us a fun fact about you…

I once got stung three times in the same eye by bluebottle jellyfish in Australia!
