The British Science Festival is committed to featuring brand new research, and looking to the future of scientific endeavour.

We are introducing a programme strand which gives academics the opportunity to present their latest, or future, research interests to members of the public, other researchers and the media.

We are particularly interested in novel new fields of research or new takes on old data. 

Scientists will have a few minutes to present their research and will be questioned by the audience about the application of their work and any societal impact they envisage.
