The x-change - Supported by Siemens

What is the x-change?

The British Science Festival is organised by the British Science Association. Every day we select some of the best speakers from all corners of the British Science Festival and bring them together for the x-change - a fun and fast run-through of the best, funniest, most controversial and most interesting speakers.

The 2014 x-change runs from Monday 8th - Thursday 11th September (13.15 - 14.30) at the Flask and Bunsen, University of Birmingham

If you missed the shows in 2013, check out the x-change archive!

The x-change is presented by Richard Holligham. The author of Blood and Guts: A History of Surgery, he has filed stories from more than 40 countries. He presents for BBC Radio 4 and World Service and is former senior producer on the BBC’s Today programme.

The x-change is run by our Science in Society team and supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, who will spend each day looking out for speakers, producing the shows, and spreading the word around Birmingham.
