Our work CREST Star CREST Star is for primary school-aged students (5 – 11 years) and encourages them to solve science, technology, engineering, and maths challenges through practical investigation. All the activities are available to download for free. Launched in 2007, CREST Star is used in primary and special educational needs schools across the UK as well as several international schools overseas. How it works CREST Star has three levels, Star (usually 5-7 year olds), SuperStar (usually 7-11 year olds) and MegaStar (usually 8-12 year olds). Each time a child completes an activity they add a sticker to their logbook, when their logbook is filled up they get a certificate! Activities are designed to last approximately one hour and you don't need to be a teacher or have a science background to run them as each activity comes with an organiser’s card with instructions, highlighted safety points and a resource list. Download all the activities: Star investigations SuperStar investigations MegaStar investigations You can also choose activities from a variety of accredited partners either by visiting them, downloading activities from the web, or booking an outreach visit.
