Additionally CREST Awards are supported by the Welsh Government and the Department for Education.
CREST can link into work experience placements, after-schools clubs or numerous linked schemes. Students can investigate or design and make, research a subject, or design a science communication project. This section describes what makes CREST so special and explains how you can get involved.
There are four different levels of CREST Award: Discovery, Bronze, Silver and Gold. For a detailed overview of what's needed at each level see the CREST Award Levels page.
If you are keen to get started then please go to the Local CREST Coordinator pages to find the contact details for CREST representatives in your area.
Being a flagship scheme for STEM project work with young people, we work closely with a large number of partners and accredited schemes so if you are not sure where to start, some of the existing links and project frameworks may provide a helping hand.
