The Amazing World of Light and Colour: Explore Your Universe

Wednesday, 8 May, 2013 - 19:00 to 20:30

Satrosphere are taking part in the May Festival led by the Universityof Aberdeen.  We are hosting an evening Meet the Expert event “The Amazing World of Light and Colour: Explore Your Universe”.  Our expert Stuart Farmer, head of physics at RobertGordonCollege, will deliver a family-friendly talk where you can find out some of the science behind what we see.  Expect to discover how light is used to determine what is in distant parts of the universe, how it is needed for the internet and to make modern displays. And do we always see what we think we see?  This event is free and suitable for the whole family.  Stuart Farmer is Treasurer of the Institute of Physics (IOP) and Trustee and Chair of the Association for Science Education (ASE).  For more information please contact us on 01224 640340 or
