Forth Valley STEM Club
The proposed activity is the launch of a STEM club to be run at Forth Valley College. It will be targeting the 8 high schools in the area, and aimed specifically at the first and second year pupils, to give them a taste of activities within the STEM sector before they go on to choose their subjects in third year.
The event will be staffed by lecturers and students who are registered as stem ambassadors.
The format of the club activities will be workshops under the following headings:

Computing Hardware and programming (Strip and build, raspberry pi (connecting and programming)

Games design and games programming

Science Chemistry and Biology (DNA necklace, noisy putty, slime, rockets, volcanoes, fingerprint keyrings, forensics)

Maths Activities Blood splatter analysis using trig
