Ideas Cafe presents: SCUBA Discoveries

Tuesday, 19 March, 2013 - 18:00 to 20:00

A free evening talk with wine and nibbles at Porthcurno Telegraph Museum. Dr Keith Hiscock of the Marine Biological Association will explore the use of SCUBA to discover marine life, with an emphasis on the beautiful flora and fauna of West Cornwall. Dr Hiscock will discuss the extraordinary hard hat diving studies of the 1930s, SCUBA in the 1950s, and his own personal highlights of four decades of undersea exploration.
