Jimmy's Farm Science Festival 2013

Saturday, 16 March, 2013 - 10:00 to Sunday, 17 March, 2013 - 16:00

16th and 17th March 10am to 4pm An annual Science Festival held at Jimmy's Farm. All entry to children is FREE. Jimmy feels passionately that children should be able to learn about science and engineering in an outdoors environment to inspire their imaginations. We are heavily involved with local schools who will be entering a science and engineering expo. They will all be provided with a free stall space and will be asked to demonstrate a science or engineering project that they've deveoped to share with other children. A winner will be judged at the end of the weekend. * Demos from Marty Jopson, Mad Science and more * Live bioblitz on the farm * Schools science expo competition judged by Marty Jopson * Animals to meet - exotic and farm animals * Local food stalls * Periodic Table in cupcakes * Loads of Science and Engineering fun for all the family! * Bug hotel building project for kids * Den building For more information please visit www.jimmysfarm.com
