Prehistoric cave deposits unearthed and explained

Saturday, 16 March, 2013 - 10:00 to 12:00

Step inside Leeds Museum Discovery Centre, Leeds’s state of the art museum storage facility and discover over 1 million fascinating objects. From elephant skulls to a medieval log boat, the Discovery Centre offers a unique opportunity for hands on exploration into the natural world, human history and ingenuity. Come and join us as we delve into the murky mysteries of our geology drawers and discover artefacts preserved in caves from the time when cave bears and hyenas roamed in Yorkshire!
