Rainforest adventurers

Saturday, 16 March, 2013 - 10:00 to 11:00

Calling all intrepid explorers! The rainforest is coming to Hawick Library. The Scottish Borders Council Library and Information Service is celebrating National Science & Engineering Week by inviting children and their adults to join them on a voyage of exploration and discovery into remote rainforests - all in the comfort and safety of their local library. Rainforest Adventurer Workshops are presented by a trained ZooLab Ranger and invite children and families to meet and handle a variety of rainforest creepy crawlies, such as snakes, tree frogs, tarantulas, and many more... When you go down to the library today, you're in for a big surprise... Are you brave enough? (Please remember to book your place, and all children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult)
