The Sheffield Festival of Science and Engineering

Monday, 11 March, 2013 - 09:00 to Sunday, 24 March, 2013 - 17:00

Sheffield Hallam University and The University of Sheffield have worked closely together to create the Sheffield Festival of Science and Engineering in 2013. The festival aims to celebrate all that is best about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) across South Yorkshire. A range of exciting events will be taking place across the region involving school, colleges, libraries and museums and the general public which will underline this region's place as a major international centre for fundamental and applied research, knowledge transfer and links between education and industry. This builds upon many years of successful collaboration on the National Science and Engineering Week coordinated by the British Science Association. Please visit http://www.scienceweeksy.org.uk for more details about the events taking place.
