Whacky Scrap Races

Saturday, 23 March, 2013 - 11:00 to 15:00

This is a launch for the following event. The aim is to get people to come along and get involved looking to sign them up for the project.

Based on Scrapheap Challenge, a new small-scale project is set each term and family teams attend 8 weekly Saturday sessions from 10.30am-12.00noon at Denefield School, Long Lane, Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire.

Come along and meet the team!

This free family activity is open to anyone with children aged 5+ who must be accompanied by an adult. Bring along your friends, aunts, uncles and grandparents! Team sizes: 2-6.

All materials and refreshments are provided free of charge and recycling items from home is also encouraged.

Free creche facilities are on offer for the under 5’s (subject to availability) and those with additional needs can be catered for.
