Sea Faring Safety

This event will look at the development of lighthouses and foghorns from ancient times to recent history. It will encompass the science of these essential maritime tools from crude open fires and bull horns to sophisticated light bending instruments and kinetic powered foghorns.
Booking details: 
Turn up and pay at museum reception as normal, Science event comes with cost of tickets. Pre-booking can be arranged for community groups, schools, nurseries, after school groups etc, at a discounted rate.
