Bubbles, bangs and explosions!

Tuesday, 19 March, 2013 - 14:00 to 15:00

During National Science & Engineering Week 2013, Park Mains High School is planning to host a science show named “Bubbles, bangs and explosions!”. The show will involve a series of science demonstrations with audience participation. Some of these demonstrations are related to the curriculum which are difficult to re-create in the classroom. To capture the audiences’ imagination, the show will be themed around the famous Harry Potter Books and Movies. The aim of this show is to inspire students to take an interested in science, encourage their natural curiosity for the subject and perhaps further their study of science in S3 and beyond.
