Designing for people that are 'well old'!

Tuesday, 19 March, 2013 - 09:00 to 12:00

This interactive workshop will focus on the importance of ergonomics when designing products for older adults. During the workshop students will get the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of what it is like to be old by trying on a series of wearable simulation devices that mimic the effects of old age. The workshop will provide students with an understanding of the effects of ageing and how ergonomics can contribute to the design of successful products.
