Science and literacy competition

John Kyrle High School Science and English Classrooms

Working with the Literacy Week team (4th - 8th March), Yr 7 and 8 pupils need to create and display a science poem, based on any scientific topic. Pupils can write limericks, prose, acrostic poems, whatever they like. The competition will be launched in Yr 7 and 8 assemblies using a short you tube video - 10 quirky science tricks, to inspire them. Posters of entries from the competition 2 years ago will be displayed around the school.
