Science Day

Friday, 22 March, 2013 - 21:30 to Wednesday, 10 April, 2013 - 21:30
Blessed Sacrament Junior School
We kicked started the day by inviting a technician from the secondary school to do some activities to create a wow factor. He did this brilliantly and we also had an impromptu visit from the fire brigade which wasn't planned but definately added to the excitement. Children then went back to class to do enquiry games and a whole investigation taken from the accidental discovery packs. Each year groups focused on a different investigation. In the afternoon the children took part in the poster competition and science quiz. Photos were taken and work was displayed on a school display board. The feedback from the day was positive and all children enjoyed the day
