Science Discovery Week

Monday, 18 March, 2013 - 09:00 to Friday, 22 March, 2013 - 15:00

St Columba's Primary School will be running a series of workshops, roadshows and experiments within our school during National Science week. There are a number of visitors bringing science shows and workshops to our school and we will also be carrying out some of our own inventions and discoveries in class. We are planning to touch on a wide range of curricular outcomes, from sustainable energy to topical science, in the hope of providing a fun, varied and interesting week giving everyone a taste of much that science has to offer and the important part it plays in modern life.

Categories:
Biodiversity, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Sport Science and Topical Science
Age group:
5–7 year olds and 7–11 year olds
