Sustainable science week

Monday, 18 March, 2013 - 09:00 to Friday, 22 March, 2013 - 15:00
Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn

Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn Special School plan to investigate sustainable energy sources. In our “sustainable science” week we intend to investigate sustainable energy sources whilst teaching basic concepts and principles in physical science. Our plans are to explore heat and light energy from the sun, the energy from the wind, as well as with electrochemical and plant energy. Each class will follow a specific line of enquiry with the aim of combining our knowledge to build an environmentally friendly model house and feedback our findings to the rest of the school.
