Whole school science day
Our whole school science day involves all teaching staff (including: head teacher, teachers and teaching assistants) preparing activities for groups of around 20 pupils to experiment and explore sicentific principles based around the National Science & Engineering Week theme: Invention & discovery. We endeavour to ensure the day is full of fun and exciting activities including an interactive whole school science assembly. This year we have decided to let pupils film events throughout the day and help to gather material for a science display. In conjunction with this, we will be raising the profile of science by engaging with secondary school partnerships. Challenges are set for individual pupils or small groups to enter a competition within the family of local schools.
