EDT

EDT is the largest provider of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) enrichment activities for UK youth. They provide a range of work related learning schemes to enhance their technical, personal and employability skills through industry-led projects, industrial placements and specialised courses. EDT help develop partnerships, build links between education and industry and help organisations reach talent and connect with young engineers and scientists across the UK.

Go4SET

 Go4SET Is an environmental themed 10 week STEM projects for Year 8/9 & S2 (12-14yr old) pupils.
 
At the beginning of the project you must register your project(s) by contacting your EDT CREST local coordinator who will send you the student registration upload template. They will also liaise with you to make sure that your project meets the CREST criteria.
 
Remember that for your Celebration and Assessment Day (CAD), you will need to send to your local EDT CREST representative, electronic copies of:
  • your project report; 
  • your Go4SET CREST checklist; 
  • a personal appendix for each student. 
If these documents are not received by EDT´s submission deadline, your CREST assessor may not be able to complete assessment of your project at the CAD. This will create work for you and delay the outcome.
