Branch away day

What is the Branch Away Day?

The Branch Away Day is an opportunity for branch volunteers from across the country to come together and...

  • Share stories with other branch members
  • Exchange new event ideas
  • Meet the British Science Association regional team
  • Hear from other organisations
  • Learn from a bespoke training session
  • Celebrate the year's successes.

The most recent Away Day took place on Monday 9th September 2013 in Newcastle during the British Science Festival.

The event was a great opportunity for representatives from the branches to meet, exchange ideas, discuss concerns or suggestions with the regional team and catch up with the latest news from the British Science Association. In addition, attendees undertook fundraising skills training which was led by experienced consultants Hopkins Van Mil.

The next Away Day will take place in Birmingham in September 2014.
