Evaluation is an important part of maintaining and improving event programmes and also helps the British Science Association show the impact of branch events across the country.

There are four main reasons for this:

1. To check your event is meeting its aims
2. To collect ideas for improvement/to identify what works well
3. To let the rest of the Association know what you are doing
4. To let other organisations know what you are doing, for example in a funding application
