South Wales Branch

The South Wales branch is growing all the time and there are lots of opportunities to get involved. If you are based in South Wales and are interested in getting involved, it would be great to hear from you.

Every year the branch organises a series of lectures. In addition to the Dolen Lecture series, the branch is also interested in planning events for families and young people.

The branch runs joint events with the Cardiff Science Cafe and Cardiff SciSCREEN and is always looking for other organisations to work in partnership with and host events. The branch also supports science communication events in the region particularly supporting events that help young researchers develop their skills in this ever expanding field.

The Association would like to thank Neville Evans, who has recently stepped down as secretary of the south Wales branch, for his many year of support and dedicated service. Neville will remain as a member of the branch committee and will continue to organise the prestigious Dolan Lecture Series.
