National Science + Engineering Competition sponsorship

The National Science + Engineering Competition recognises and rewards young people’s achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and by doing so, encourages others to engage with STEM and consider STEM-related careers.

The Competition's finals are held annually at The Big Bang Fair where each finalist displays and demonstrates their project work to visiting school groups and the wider public. By seeing the achievements of their peers, students visiting the Fair are encouraged to engage with STEM.

Corporate sponsors and institutional supporters are invited to help the competition grow, but also to support entrants in their own field and to encourage other entry routes to the competition - highlighting and working to build on skills shortages and knowledge building in any given sector.

There are multiple opportunities to be involved in sponsoring the National Science + Engineering Competition, if you would like to know more please contact Aoine Saunders: aoine.saunders@britishscienceassociation.org
