The history of the British Isles and its inhabitants, both human and canine, has long been entwined. Breed reveals the enduring and affectionate relationship between the British people and their dogs and explores the very beginnings of pedigree dog breeding in Britain.
Students from KS3, KS4 and KS5 are all working on individual research projects in order to gain bronze and silver CREST awards. Our budding scientists are working on projects as diverse as potato batteries, the red spot of jupiter, genetic engineering, evolution and the tides. We're looking forward to National Science & Engineering Week!
The Centre will host four expert speakers from diverse areas in the philosophy of science.
