National school competition
For the NSEW 2014 out-of-the-box ideas challenge, we want students to envision the world of the future!
In the year 2114...
We are asking students of all ages to think about what the world will be like in 100 years and to share with us a vision of a development they think will have come into practice. This can be a new product, a scientific, technological or medical advancement or a design to help deal with demands on natural resources.
Submissions can include posters, collages, graphic designs or photos of models. All submissions should include a description of the idea and how it will improve society. Entries will be judged by a panel and the most innovative, best researched and well-presented entries in each age category will win a selection of prizes.
The competition is now open!
Please complete the short online entry form on behalf of your class/school before submitting your entries. If this online form is not complete, your students will not be eligible for prizes.
Entries must be received by 18 April 2014 to be considered for prizes.
Please see last year's competition, What a waste, for ideas.
