In fact, you don't even have to be a teacher! Full notes are provided as part of the resources including a list of everything you need to for the activity.

Free subscription to the CREST Star primary school science resources

CREST Star is offering schools and other users who have previously bought CREST Star science investigation packs anytime since 2008, free membership of the new online scheme. All these users need to do is sign up at www.britishscienceassociation.org/creststar/register before 31st July.


There are over a 1000 eligible patrons who can avail of the offer. Through the new online scheme CREST offers over 60 activities across 3 award levels, printable logbooks and sticker templates, and the ability to create and print, personalised award certificates. Renewal membership usually costs £20 per year and it is £40 for an initial registration.


You don't need a science background or to be a teacher to run CREST Star activities as full notes are provided, including a list of everything you need to run the activity. We are always adding to our online content, our most recent activity is ‘Yummy Yoghurt’, a fun and easy dairy activity. 


CREST Star is the British Science Association’s UK-wide primary school scheme enabling children to solve science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) problems through practical investigation.
