MC TEC presents STEM event 2013

Wednesday, 20 March, 2013 - 10:00 to 15:00

Schools are invited to bring cohorts (of any age) to Middlesbrough College and explore the Employer Marketplace and book onto our range of workshops, talks and masterclasses.

Employer Marketplace: Our main indoor street will be bustling with activity thanks to a range of local employers providing information, advice and guidance about why STEM subjects are important for their areas of work.

Workshops & Masterclasses: Give us a call and hear about our range of workshops and masterclasses and book on groups or individuals as you see fit. Sessions on technology (such as introduction to website design, or the computer workshop), science (such as forensics investigation), engineering (mechanical design), and applied mathematics.

Talks: Check onto our talks from industry leaders such as Sembcorp’s Jane Atkinson discussing how she entered a career in engineering.
