Charles Darwin experience

Friday, 22 March, 2013 - 09:00 to 12:00

Workshop for Key Stage 1 pupils run by one of our local museums enabling them to understand more about the life and times of Charles Darwin. They will become fossil hunters and also learn about the conditions on the Beagle when Darwin sailed around the world. This scientist is particularly relevant to our local area because he was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire where several monuments to him can be seen.
