How to photograph the stars

Thursday, 21 March, 2013 - 19:00 to 20:30

We are once again joined by Nick Howes during National Science & Engineering Week. Nick will talk about how to image stars, planets and the moon. Using everything from a simple camera phone through to a professional research grade camera on Hubble sized telescopes. Nick is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, Consultant for the GEO Observatory in Andalucía, Spain Science writer for the European Space Agency Team leader for a World Record image taken of the moon Faulkes Telescope project Program Manager His work has appeared in National Geographic, Discovery Channel, BBC's Stargargazing Live/Sky At Night/News along with multiple national newspapers Contributor to Astronomy Now Cost £1.00 Contact Sally Bere on sbere@stjohns.wilts.sch.uk or 01672-519558 to reserve a space.
