Beyond the farm gate

Redmyre Farm

An opportunity for pupils from a school in Perthshire to visit a working estate which employs game and wildlife conservation based on scientific research. Pupils will discover how Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust science has helped conserve species and how it benefits land management to increase biodiversity. Discussion will also take place on game management and food sources. The event is being hosted by GWCT and the Royal Highland Education Trust and aims to teach pupils about what else happens on a farm and estate beyond purely farming.
