Children will work throughout the week on designing and making a prototype of an activity frame for their playground. (We are currently in the process of purchasing one). Children will work in teams and will have designated production team roles in this week long project. Teachers will put forward the best ideas for Dragon’s Den on Friday. Children must remember to work in teams and will learn to work co-operatively. Furthermore this will aid in their ever expanding investigatory skills. This event will also be linked to Literacy throughout the week, where children will be describing their invention through developing explanations on their activity frame. This will aid them in thinking about how they may explain their ideas on paper.
