Byddwn yn edrych ar sut mae adeiladu ysgol ardal newydd wedi defnyddio amrediad mawr o arbenigeddau peirianyddol, gwyddonol a mathemategol. Bydd cyfle i glywed sut mae’r pensaer wedi cynllunio’r adeilad i gyd-fynd gyda’r safle. Bydd y plant yn gallu ymweld a’r safle adeiladu, gweld y dulliau ddefnyddir ac arbrofi gyda’r technegau ddefnyddiwyd mewn sesiynnau ymarferol hwyliog. Byddant yn ogystal yn gallu gweld sut mae theori yn troi yn ymarfer ac yn sylwi ar yr amrediad o sgiliau sydd wedi dod at ei gilydd i greu eu hysgol newydd. Fe fyddwn yn gobeithio bydd y digwyddiad yn ehangu gorwelion y plant i weld y cyfleon gyrfa mae gwyddoniaeth a pheirianneg yn ei gynnig iddynt.

We will look at how building a new area school has used a wide range of scientific, engineering and mathematical expertise. There will be an opportunity to hear how the architect has designed the building to complement the site. The children will be able to visit the building site, to see the methods used and experiment with the techniques used in fun practical sessions. They will also be able to see how theory turns into practice and to realise the range of skills that have come together to create their new school. We hope that the event will widen the children’s horizons and make them realise the career opportunities science and engineering can offer.
