Inventive Victorians

Come and meet some 'real characters' in the mansion today and discover how Victorian inventions transformed our lives. Discover the mystery of a Victorian picture book that makes animal sounds, make your own moving toy, meet the housemaid and see if you can work out what her latest gadgets are for. An action packed fun-filled day for all ages. The new Constable Gallery will open today. Come and explore Constable's paintings and discover the impact he had on Victorian art and beyond.
