Stargazing @ Tywyn

Wednesday, 13 March, 2013 - 18:00 to 21:00

Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn is organising a 'Stargazing @ Tywyn' event in and around the school community hall on the evening of Wednesday 13th March. Students and staff from the Physics Department, Aberystwyth University will present shows in their inflatable Stardome, and if the skies are clear will be on hand with their high definition telescopes pointing out stars, planets, moons and even a distant galaxy! Many of the students are STEM Ambassadors. GCSE Astronomy students from the school will be helping out too, and light refreshments will be available.
