Screening of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS with Science and Cineliteracy Introduction at Greenwich Picturehouse

This year for Science and Engineering Week we’ve been inspired by the theme of ‘Inventions and Discoveries’, and have teamed it up with ‘Waste Week’ (11-17 March) to show you the fantastic animation CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. The film includes themes of whacky inventions, scientific processes and testing (or, in this case, lack of!), weather systems and of course, food and food waste.
Year: 2009 | Film length: 90 mins + talk 20 mins | Age: Y3, 4, 5, 6, KS 1, 2
We believe that film and cinema have an increasingly important role to play within the National Curriculum, aiding pupils’ learning and development throughout their formal education.
Our London-based education team work closely with teachers and Local Education Authorities to deliver a year-round, diverse programme of screenings, talks and workshops, all carefully designed to complement the National Curriculum at different levels and develop young people’s cineliteracy skills.
