Countryside, Digital, Life?

As part of National Science and Engineering Week 2013 dot.rural are offering an interactive workshop to schools featuring dot.rural PhD students and Research Fellows:
Countryside, Digital, Life? At this interactive workshop discover how digital technology from mobile phones to satellite internet can help improve people's lives in the countryside. The innovations cover topics from buses to bumblebees and family history to first aid and more.
Audience age: P3-S6
Dates available: 18-22 March (other dates by request)
Venue (e.g. outreach to city and/or shire schools or your venue): Aberdeen City or Shire
For up to 33 pupils, Activity duration: 45 minutes – 60 minutes, needs large room or hall for different 'stations' to be set up at (and space for pupils to move between them, tables are fine)
