Build your own telescope

Thursday, 21 March, 2013 - 18:00 to 19:00

Come to Coats Observatory and build your own telescope.  This family workshop will give you the opportunity to build a telescope and then use it to join in with the Observatory viewing night.  An ideal opportunity to give your family their first taste of astronomy with expert help from the team at the observatory.  The best bit - you get to keep the telescope.  10 telescopes available to the first ten people to book.  One telescope per household.  Bookings must be for 1 adult accompanying 1 or more children.  Attending adult will be required to help their children in the construction of the telescope.
