CREST Local Coordinator survey 2012/13

Following on from feedback at last year’s summer CREST Conference, we are putting into practice a CREST Local Coordinator survey which provides an opportunity for you to give your opinions on how we work with Local Coordinators regarding the general position of CREST, the work of the British Science Association and STEM opportunities for young people.

Please answer the following questions and where possible please provide comments or specific examples. You do not need to provide your name and details (though if you wish to do so in relation to specific points raised, please add in your details in Question 10). There are 10 questions so it shouldn’t take you more than 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

Your responses cover involvement with both CREST Star and the CREST Awards at secondary reflecting on the last 12 months. We value your feedback which will feed into future plans for the scheme.

Please reply to this before 1st June.

The survey results will be compiled and an appropriate overview will be shared at the Summer CREST Local Coordinator Conference.

This covers growth and new developments in the last 12 months e.g. Teacher participation recognition, ‘CREST in a Day’, accreditation of providers' activities, online CREST Star developments, the CREST Alumni and the CREST Youth Panel.
This includes the British Science Festival, National Science & Engineering Week, Science in Society, Regions and Branches, National Science + Engineering Competition.
