National Science & Engineering Week Project Manager
REPORTING TO: Manager of Regional Programmes
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Regional Officer (Marketing) and occasionally manage a fixed term contract employee
BASED: British Science Association, Wellcome Wolfson Building, 165 Queen's Gate, and London SW7 5HD
TERMS: Fixed term contract of 18 months, full time 35 hours per week
SALARY: £22,000 to £26,000 per year depending on experience
Overall purpose of the job
The National Science & Engineering Week Project Manager is responsible for delivering National Science & Engineering Week (NSEW) which takes place in March every year. The NSEW Project Manager will manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, ensure key milestones are met, and also coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the project according to plan.
