Try our cracking spring experiments!

Want fun, quick and easy-to-run experiments for the end of spring term? Try these!

We have pulled together two spring-themed experiments for you to undertake in the classroom or with your kids at home. Both use easy-to-find lab or household equipment and are simple to run with young people, supervised at all times by an adult. They should be easy to undertake in lesson time or during an after-school or lunchtime club.

Each sheet provides basic information on how to undertake the experiment, a list of equipment you will need, and some heath and safety advice.

If your students enjoy the activity and want to find out more, we've also included some suggestions for further investigations that could potentially lead your students to a CREST Bronze Award.

So, why not have a go at our spring experiments? And don't forget to tweet us photos of your efforts to @CRESTAwards using the hashtag #crestie (like a selfie but for CREST projects).
