Join an elite team of forensic scientists from Northumbria University in a Geordie version of CSI to investigate a crime. Under the premise that a robbery has taken place, the public can engage with different pieces of evidence from the simulated crime to help to solve the case. ‘Suspects’ (mannequins) will be used as props so that their clothing can also be examined as part of the scenario. For example, one of the suspects will have a positive blood alcohol level whilst in charge of a vehicle and the public can try out ‘beer goggles’ (set at the same level of that which was found in the suspects blood sample) to determine if they think the suspect was fit to drive.
