Offa’s Dyke GirlGuiding UK district ‘invention and discovery’ event

Monday, 18 March, 2013 - 18:00 to 20:30

The ‘invention and discovery’ event will be open to all Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section, Leaders and Trefoil members of Offa’s Dyke GirlGuiding UK District in Wrexham. The Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section will be split into small groups, which will rotate around activities run by the Leaders, Trefoil and outside organisations. The event aims to provide positive female role-models in science and engineering to inspire the young girls, aged 5-18. It also aims to provide fun and thought-provoking ‘invention and discovery’ activities that make the girls think positively about their scientific abilities and which they discuss at home with their families.
