LAS Observatory public open evening

Monday, 18 March, 2013 - 19:00 to 21:30

Discover the spring night skies . LAS Observatory open evenings ( 7pm to 9.30pm March 19th and March 21st only). Observe Juptier using the 0.5m Telescope and many of the other fine objects in the spring night sky using other LAS members telescopes from a dark field site. (Clear skies permitting) Warm clothing and stout footwear is required. Beginners introduction to the spring constellations. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please meet in the car park area note visitors to be escorted by LAS members to and from the observing site, a five minute walk from the main buildings. Access is not suitable for wheel chairs etc.
